Privacy Policy

This site is the portfolio of Enrique Estacio, an independent software consultant. It has one form and no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. This page describes exactly what happens to the information you send.
What is collected
When you submit the contact form, the following is recorded:
- What you type — your name, email address, subject line, and message.
- Your IP address and browser — captured automatically with the submission. This exists so that abuse and automated spam can be identified, not to profile you.
Nothing else is collected. Browsing the site without submitting the form records nothing about you beyond ordinary web server logs.
Why it is collected
To read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of it so a message is not lost if email delivery fails. The information is used for no other purpose.
Where it goes
Submissions are stored in a database on a private server hosted by DigitalOcean, and a notification email is sent through Mailgun, an email delivery provider. Both of these companies process the data solely to provide those services.
Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or shared for advertising. It is not added to any mailing list, and you will not receive marketing from this site.
Spam protection and reCAPTCHA
This site uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to distinguish real visitors from automated bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information from your browser and sends it to Google for analysis. It also sets cookies belonging to Google. This happens on the pages where the contact form appears.
Its use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking software. The only cookies involved are those set by Google reCAPTCHA, described above.
How long it is kept
Contact submissions are kept for as long as they remain useful as a record of our correspondence. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time and it will be removed.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email estacioofficial@gmail.com and it will be handled.
Changes to this policy
If this site starts collecting anything beyond what is described here, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
