Enrique Estacio is an independent software development and business-solutions practice, providing custom web applications, e-commerce systems, and enterprise software for growing and established businesses.

a) Information you give us directly

• Contact form: name, email address, and any details you choose to share about your project or inquiry.
• Booking a call: if you use the “Get a Free Strategy Call” button, the booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Cal.com collects your name, email address, and the date and time you select in order to schedule the call, under its own Privacy Policy.

b) Information collected automatically

• IP address and browser user agent: logged automatically with every contact form submission, for security and spam-prevention purposes (see Section 3).
• reCAPTCHA data: we use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated and spam submissions through our contact form. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information — such as device and application data — and send it to Google for analysis, in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We do not currently use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Hotjar) on this Site, and no behavioral tracking cookies are set. If that changes, this Policy will be updated to disclose it before those tools go live.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form.
• Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and automated submissions (via reCAPTCHA).
• Maintain the security and integrity of our Site.
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting records, where applicable).

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interest — to respond to inquiries, and to secure the Site against spam and abuse via reCAPTCHA.
• Legal obligation — to maintain financial and tax records where required.

Our Site currently sets only:

• Essential cookies — required for basic Site functionality.
• reCAPTCHA cookies — set by Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish human visitors from bots when you submit the contact form.
• Cal.com cookies — set only if you open the booking calendar via “Get a Free Strategy Call”, to support the scheduling widget itself.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Because the cookies above are functional — not tracking or advertising — we don’t display a cookie consent banner. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, a consent banner and this Policy will be updated accordingly.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information with:

• Google, as the provider of reCAPTCHA, which processes certain technical data to help prevent spam (see Section 2b).
• Cal.com, as the provider of our booking calendar, if you choose to schedule a call — it receives the name, email, and time you select for that purpose (see Section 2a).
• Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our hosting and email providers.
• Legal authorities, if required to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Information you submit through our contact form is used only to respond to you and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

• Contact form submissions (including the IP address and user agent logged with them) are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for security and record-keeping purposes.
• Where we engage in a paid project with a client, related business records may be retained longer in line with standard accounting and tax requirements.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect, including secure hosting, access controls, and encrypted transmission (HTTPS) on our Site. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — including if we add analytics tools, a newsletter, payment processing, or other features that involve additional data collection. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
